Ling, Lisa, narr. Inside North Korea. March 20, 2007. DVD. National Geographic.

This program was made by National Geographic, so it can be assumed to be at least somewhat credible. The program is a look at North Korean society by journalists who have sneaked in pretending to be humanitarian workers. The audience is the casual viewer that would be watching the National Geographic Channel. The program is a general overview of North Korean society, with a look at the various landmarks, major cities, and some of the people, including both the guides as well as interviews with a few non-government affiliated people. There is a clear bias to the documentary, with sinister music playing and a generally very intimidating presentation of North Korea, though some of this may just be due to the way the country is. However, despite the bias, this documentary still has abundant amounts of interesting footage. This is valuable for my thesis because it gives some more visual insight into the repressive and restrictive practices of the North Korean government, which is, in at least some ways, more enlightening than just reading about the country.
